The writ petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of SIR appeal pending before the Appellate Authority.

The writ petition was filed on April 24, 2026, when the matter was taken by a Co-ordinate Bench on April 28, 2026, the petitioner was not represented and the hearing was adjourned. The

Assembly Election has been concluded with its results.

There is no exceptional circumstance pleaded in the writ petition warranting an expeditious hearing of the pending SIR appeal, out of turn. At this juncture, the petitioner prays for withdrawal of this writ petition.

In view of the above, this writ petition WPA 634 of 2026 stands dismissed as withdrawn.
