1. We have heard the learned Counsel for the parties.

2. In view of the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and incriminating materials available in the case diary implicating the petitioner for the commission of alleged offence and also having regard to the fact that the evidence of the victim girl is yet to be recorded, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

3. The prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (DB) 188 of 2024 is, accordingly, dismissed.
