It has been submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner that all the respondents have been duly served.

The petitioner who is an Assistant Teacher of a Junior High School in the District of Jalpaiguri has prayed for transfer to school which is near to the residence of the petitioner. The petitioner claims to have applied through the Utsoshree Portal for transfer.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the school authority has not yet

forwarded the application for transfer to the concerned District Inspector of Schools.

The Secretary of the Adhoc Committee, Uttar Boragari Junior High School, Jalpaiguri being the 6th respondent is directed to consider the application for transfer of the petitioner and to take a decision as expeditiously as possible but positively within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order. If the said authority decides in favour of the petitioner consequential steps shall be taken by the school authority in that regard.

With the above observations and directions, WPA 698 of 2025 stands disposed of.

No order as to costs.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
