Mr. Gopal Sah ..for the petitioners Ms. Supriya Singh Ms. Radhika Agarwal ..for the State It is the grievance of the petitioners that although the State acquired a number of plots owned by them in the year 2021, no compensation has been paid to them till date.

It appears that the petitioners have submitted a representation before the District Magistrate, Jalpaiguri seeking redressal of their grievance.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the grievance of the petitioners shall be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the aforesaid, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the District Magistrate, Jalpaiguri to consider the representation of the petitioners, appearing at page 22 of the writ petition, and to pass a reasoned order in accordance with law

within a period of one month from the date of communication of this order.

Accordingly, WPA 722 of 2026 is disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
