1. We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties.

2. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the present accused petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case.

3. The learned Counsel for the State, however, opposes the prayer for bail.

4. On perusal of the injury report of the victim it reveals that the injuries of the victim are simple in nature, though he suffered stab wound.

5. Considering the circumstances, we are of the view that further custodial detention of the petitioner is no more required and the petitioner may be released on bail.

6. Accordingly, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.2,000/- with one registered surety of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Siliguri in

connection with G.R. Case No. 412 of 2024 and the condition as would be imposed by the Trial Court, if the said Court thinks it fit and proper.

7. The application for bail of the petitioner is allowed. CRM (DB) 198 of 2024 is, accordingly, disposed of.
