1. The petitioner participated in a recruitment process conducted by the respondent authorities in the year 2008 and secured the second position.

2. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the candidate who secured the first position did not join the post. Accordingly, the petitioner made an application to the authority for joining the said post in 2009.

3. The instant writ petition has been filed in the year 2025 seeking for a direction upon the respondents to consider the petitioner's prayer.

4. It appears that, the petitioner has approached this Court at an extremely belated point of time.

5. At this stage, no relief can be granted to the petitioner.

6. The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed.
