Learned counsel for the petitioner has prayed for bail on the medical grounds. Some of the orders of the co-ordinate Bench has been placed in support of his submission that some of the co-accused have been granted bail by this Court.

We find that the last Circuit Bench in the present case was not inclined to grant bail to the accused/petitioner. Learned counsel appearing for the State is also present with the case diary and it is submitted by both the parties that presently the petitioner is being treated at S.S.K.M Hospital, Kolkata. We find that the best treatment available in West Bengal is being provided to the petitioner and since 10.03.2023 when the prayer for bail of the present

petitioner was rejected, there is no change in circumstances and as the petitioner is being provided with the best medical treatment, we find no reason to grant bail in this case at this stage, which involves 1000 grams of brown sugar.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
