2. From the materials as placed before us, we find sufficient progress in the trial.

3. We thus find no reason to extend our discretion under Section 439 Cr.P.C. in favour of the petitioner.

4. Prayer for bail is, thus, considered and rejected.

5. We request the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial as far as possible by invoking Section 309 Cr.P.C. (Soumen Sen, J.) (Partha Sarathi Sen, J.)
