The petitioners claim to have worked daily rated workers of the Amabari Falakata Sericulture Project, Manuaganj, Jalpaiguri since 1995-96. They claim continuous engagement. The petitioners claim the benefit of the memorandum of the Finance Department being No. 9008-F(P) dated 16th September, and all its subsequent modification, the last of which was memo no.

1033-F(P2) dated 8th February, 2019.

The petitioners claim that they have not been given the benefit of the afore-dated memorandum. In that view of the matter, the Deputy Director of Textile (Sericulture), Government of West Bengal,

being the respondent no.4 herein, shall consider the petitioners' representation dated 16th March, 2021 being Annexure P-18 to the writ application and dispose of the same in accordance with law within three months from the date of communication of this order.

The writ petitioners shall serve a copy of this order along with a copy of writ application afresh on the respondent no.4.

The order that shall be passed by the respondent no.4, shall be communicated to the petitioners within seven days thereafter.

With the aforesaid direction, the writ application is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
