Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner is taken on record.

The petitioner is the hapless widow of the employee who died in harness on 30th October, 1982. The petitioner submits that despite several communications made to the authority, family pension has not been granted to the petitioner till date. The petitioner intends to submit a comprehensive representation before the authority in this regard and prays for a direction upon the authority to consider the same at the earliest.

Upon consideration of the submissions made on behalf of the parties and material on record, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to submit a comprehensive representation along with all relevant documents before the 2nd respondent within a fortnight from date. The 2nd respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation within two

weeks from the date of receipt thereof after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, in accordance with law.

The said respondent is also directed to take necessary steps for disbursement of the family pension along with arrears in favour of the petitioner within a week thereof.

With the above directions, WPA 995 of 2022 is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted.

Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
