The petitioner appears in person. The petitioner is a senior citizen.

The petitioner complains that there subsists a decree for eviction passed in the year 2013. The opposite party preferred an appeal and is preventing the execution of the decree by not allowing appeal to be disposed of expeditiously. The opposite party is taking adjournments in the appeal.

There subsists a decree for eviction in favour of the petitioner. The petitioner is a senior citizen. There is an appeal against the decree for eviction being O.C. Appeal No. 1 of 2019. The appeal is yet to be disposed of finally.

In such circumstances, the learned Judge in seisin of O.C. Appeal No. 1 of 2019 is requested

not to grant any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties. He will endeavour to dispose of the appeal within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order. If necessary, he will fix consecutive dates of hearing of the appeal. CO 49 of 2022 is disposed of accordingly.
