Mr. Momenur Rahman Mr. Anirban Banerjee ...for the State Matter was taken up for consideration on 20th December, 2024 when no one appeared for the petitioner. However it was submitted on behalf of the State-respondents that matter has become infructuous since compensation has been paid to the petitioner.

Since petitioner was not represented on that day learned advocate representing the Staterespondents was directed to serve notice upon the learned advocate representing the petitioner. Today, notice which has been sent by the learned advocate representing the State-respondents upon the learned advocate representing the petitioner by e-mail is placed before this Court and taken on record. It appears from the copy of the

email letter that on 20th December, 2024 mail was sent to the learned advocate representing the petitioner.

Today, no one is representing the petitioner and no accommodation is sought for. Since there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner on consecutive two occasions this Court finds substance in the submission made on behalf of the State-respondents. It has already been submitted on behalf of the State-respondents that compensation has been paid to the petitioner. Therefore, nothing remains to be decided on this writ petition.

Hence, the writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
