The petitioner is serving as an Assistant Teacher in Education (PG with B.Ed.) in Dewanganj High School (Bengali Medium) (H.S.) in District - Cooch Behar. The petitioner has applied for general transfer on account of his wife's medical ground. The application has been forwarded to the West Bengal Central School Service Commission (in short, WBCSSC) on 14th October, 2022 by the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Cooch Behar. The petitioner's application is lying with WBCSSC since then. The petitioner says that all other requirements have been complied with and as such the matter has been sent to WBCSSC to be finally disposed

of. The petitioner prays for early disposal of such transfer application by the WBCSSC, through the respondent no.3, as the Chairman of WBCSSC.

The learned advocate appearing for WBCSSC submits that there are several applications in the pipeline and as such it will take some time to consider the petitioner's case.

In the aforesaid facts and circumstances, I direct the respondent no.3, being the Chairman, WBCSSC, to dispose of the petitioner's transfer application forwarded by the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.) Cooch Behar to WBCSSC on 14th October, 2022 within a period of three months from date. The respondent no.3, if required, may give a personal hearing to the petitioner. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.

All parties, including the respondent no.3 shall act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court without insisting upon production of certified copy thereof.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
