Mr. Sudipto Majumdar, Asst. Solicitor General Mr. Kallol Ghosh ... for the UOI The writ petitioner complains that the proforma respondents are holding citizenship of both India as well as Nepal illegally.

The issue came to light in course of litigation between the petitioner and the proforma respondents, who are legal heirs of the Goods and Estate of late Smt. Ashta Kumari.

The petitioner had made a representation to the Ministry of External Affairs, South Block, "E"

Block, Central Secretariat, New Delhi on 27.11.2019.

In that view of the matter, the Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs, South Block, New Delhi/respondent

no. 2 herein shall cause enquiries into the matter and ensure that a suitable decision is taken on the petitioner's complaint.

With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

Let a copy of the writ application along with this order be served on the respondent no. 2. The petitioner shall serve a copy of this order on the proforma respondents.

There will be no order as to costs.
