The petitioner prays for grant of interest on account of delayed payment of the dues in terms of the order passed by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court on 9th January, 2024 in WPA 62 of 2024.

On a perusal of the documents annexed to the writ petition, it appears that the petitioner refunded the amount on 18th September, 2024 and the same was communicated by the Head Master of the School to the District Inspector of Schools on 27th September, 2024. The subject PPO has been issued in January 2025. It does not appear that there has been delay in issuance of PPO requiring interference of the Court for grant of interest.

In view of the above, the prayer of the petitioner cannot be accepted.

The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed.
