The petitioners herein have prayed for anticipatory bail. 2.

On hearing the learned counsel for the petitioners and on hearing the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and on perusal of the materials in the case diary being the F.I.R. and the injury report herein it appears that an altercation took place between the parties when their respective tractors were waiting near the cold storage for loading and unloading potatoes.

The allegation against the petitioners herein is that after the said altercation, the petitioners assaulted the victim and allegedly tried to kill him by strangulation. 4.

On perusal of the medical reports and the nature of the injury noted by the doctors concerned, though not categorized by the doctors, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the accused persons.

Accordingly, in the event of arrest, the petitioners shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 10.000/- each with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also be subject to further conditions that the petitioners shall cooperate with the investigation and shall not threaten or intimidate witnesses. The petitioners shall meet the I. O. once a week till submission of report in final form. 6.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
