Heard the learned Advocates for the parties.

We have considered the materials on record. Evidence of witnesses show involvement of the petitioner in the murder. Trial is in progress. Relation of a co-accused had threatened witnesses and a separate case was registered. 3.

In view of gravity of the offence and there is possibility of intimidating witnesses if petitioner is released on bail, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. 4.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

We request the trial court to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. (Ajay Kumar Gupta, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
