The petitioner is aggrieved as full and final payment has not been made in his favour despite satisfactory completion of the work in terms of the work order issued.

It has been submitted that though part payment has been made but balance is outstanding. 3.

Learned advocate representing the State respondents denies and disputes the claim of the petitioner.

As it appears that the petitioner's prayer for balance payment is pending consideration at the end of the BDO for a considerable period of time, accordingly, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the BDO, Mal Development Block to consider the prayer of the petitioner for release of balance payment strictly in accordance with law and in terms

of the work order at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

Any amount found payable shall be released soon thereafter. If any part or portion of the petitioner's claim is disputed by the authority, details of the same shall be intimated to the petitioner immediately.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
