1. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits as follows. By an order dated 01.05.2024 in CRM (A) 350 of 2024, the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail, inter alia, on the condition that the petitioner shall meet the I.O once a week and/or as and when called for till the final report is filed and shall not leave the territorial jurisdiction of districts of Darjeeling and Jalpaiguri except with the permission of the learned trial Court till submission of the final report. He has been complying with the direction passed till date. No final report has been filed. The petitioner is praying for relaxation of the condition to meet the I.O once a week.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the State.

3. It appears that the FIR was lodged on 20/2/2024. Yet till date, no report in final form has been submitted.

4. In view of the above and in the interest of justice, the condition to meet the I.O once a week till submission of report is waived. The other conditions imposed in the said order shall remain the same.

5. With the aforesaid observations and directions, CRAN 1 of 2026 is disposed of.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
