The petitioner complains of the wrong recording in the record of rights in regard to his plot of land. The petitioner, in ordinary Court is required to approach Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal constituted under the Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal Act, 1997. However, the petitioner has made a representation to the Block Land and Land Reforms Officers, Rajganj, Jalpaiguri on 31st January, 2023. The representation is required to be disposed of.

The concerned Block Land and Land Reforms Officers being the respondent no.2 is directed to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 31st January,

2023 by a reasoned order by giving the petitioner an opportunity to represent within four months from date. It is made clear that I have not gone into the merits of the case and the concerned BL&LRO shall be free to decide on all issues that may be raised without being influenced in any manner by this order. The writ petition is accordingly is disposed of. Since I have not called for any affidavits, allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed to have not been admitted by the respondents.
