4. It will be open for the petitioner to approach the competent civil forum for remedy.

5. The police shall take steps to conclude the investigation of the pending case in accordance with law without any unnecessary delay.

6. The police shall ensure that there is no breach of peace and tranquility in the locale.

7. The writ petition stands disposed of.
