Versus

State of West Bengal and Others Mr. P. S. Deb Barman.... For the petitioners Mr. Bikramaditya Ghosh Mr. Bedashruti Bose.. for respondents Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner submits that the present petitioners were enlisted for the job of "Asha Karmi" in respect of a Panchayat.

Yet they have not been given any appointment.The petitioners made a representation dated 5th March, 2018 before the concerned authorities being the respondent No. 2. But the said representation was not taken into consideration.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Staterespondents, in his usual fairness, submits that directions may be passed upon the concerned respondents to consider the representation of the present petitioners.

In view of the above and in the interest of justice, I direct the respondent No. 2 to consider the representation dated 5th March 2018 of the present petitioners being annexure P-5 to the instant writ petition in accordance with law, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

With these observations, the writ application is disposed of.

Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities.
