The petitioners' land was acquired to exploit it for the construction of Sub-Divisional Hospital Mathabhanga, District-Cooch Behar.

The grievance of the petitioners is that the compensation amount though has reached to the Chief Medical Officer of Health, the respondent no. 6 herein, but has not yet been disbursed.

Learned advocate for the respondent no. 6 submits that to get the compensation amount, the petitioners are required to submit necessary documents. The respondent no.6, therefore, is directed to disburse the compensation amount to the petitioners as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order, subject to production of original relevant documents.

W.P.A. 933 of 2025 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
