The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner came up from the interrogation of a person apprehended by the Border Security Force in a cattle smuggling and foreigner smuggling case. He submits that the petitioner is no way connected with the instant case.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that earlier application for anticipatory bail was rejected by the learned Sessions Judge, Jalpaiguri. Moreover, the petitioner is involved in smuggling of cattle and foreigners.

In view of the nature of allegations as against the petitioner and the materials found against the petitioner

in the course of investigation and in view of the fact that the application for anticipatory bail of the petitioner was rejected on March 18, 2021 by the learned Sessions Judge, Jalpaiguri, we are not inclined to allow the present application for anticipatory bail.

CRM 647 of 2021 is dismissed.
