No one appears either in support of the applications, being CAN 1 of 2019 and CAN 2 of 2020, as also in support of the main writ petition.

It appears that the main writ petition has been adjourned on 3rd December, 2019 and 20th January, 2020 after there being an order on 14th November, 2019 to the following effect:- "In the interregnum it would be open to the Superintendent of Police/respondent no.3 to the writ petition who has filed a Report in connection with the present proceeding, to call the writ petitioner for a hearing and take appropriate steps connected to the phone call, as claimed by the writ petitioner, in the event the claim of the writ petitioner is found to be credible by the respondent no.3.

The respondent no.3 shall thereafter file a follow-up Report on the next date of hearing through learned State counsel."

It appears that the writ petitioner is not interested to prosecute with the matter and, as such, remains absent even today.

The writ petition along with the two applications, being CAN 1 of 2019 and CAN 2 of 2020, is dismissed for want of prosecution.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

There shall be no order as to costs.
