We have considered the material placed before us and we are not convinced that this is a fit case for granting bail as prayed for.
Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected keeping in mind the restrictions of Section 37 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. However, considering the fact that the present accused petitioner is languishing in Jail Custody for a considerable period of time, we direct the learned trial Court to conclude the trial of NDPS Case no. 97 of 2022 as
early as possible and preferably within six months from the date of communication of this order.
Learned trial Court is hereby directed to act on the server copy of this order, duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
The application for bail being CRM (NDPS) 317 of 2023 is, accordingly disposed of.
