Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned counsel for the respondents. 2.
The habeas corpus writ petition has been filed by alleging that the petitioner's husband was taken away forcibly by some SSB officials. The writ petitioners have also made allegation against two persons by name in the writ petition.

When the matter was called on yesterday i.e.
28.04.2025, the learned counsel representing the Union of India handed over a communication from the Commandant, 41st Bn SSB, Ranidanga dated 24.04.2025 which contains a copy of the F.I.R. and Press release issued in Nepal.

As per the communication the husband of petitioner no.1 was apprehended by police team
from Area Police Office Kakarbhitta in Nepal and produced before the Jhapa District Court on 08.04.2025, with suspected Brown Sugar. He is stated to be facing prosecution in Nepal under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs Control Act, 2033 (1976 AD).

The report containing details of the F.I.R. and Press release containing the details of the petitioner no.1's husband being taken in custody by the police in Nepal, have been handed over to the learned counsel for the writ petitioners. 6.
The State has also submitted a report. The same is taken on record.

Having received the information regarding the petitioner's arrest, as above, the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that now the petitioners will avail appropriate remedy in accordance with law.

With such liberty, the Writ Petition being W.P.A. (H) 2 of 2025 is dismissed.
