1. The revisional application has been preferred praying for expeditious disposal of G.R.Case No.398 of 2013 which corresponds to Kotwali Police Station case no.81 of 2013 dated 15.01.2013 under sections 498A/494 of the Indian Penal Code, pending before the Learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Court, Jalpaiguri.

2. Considering the nature of relief prayed for, service is dispensed with.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor is present.

4. It appears that the said G.R. Case No.398 of 2013 is pending, since 2013. 13(Thirteen) long years have passed and the trial has not been proceeded.

5. Thus, considering the long delay in trial and the nature of offences alleged, the revisional application is disposed of with the direction that the trial court shall make all endeavour to dispose of the said G.R.Case no.398 of 2013 within 3(three) months from the date of this order by fixing dates for conducting day to day trial.

6. The revisional application stands disposed of.

7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
