1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. The petitioner seeks transfer. His application for transfer stood rejected earlier by the West Bengal Central School Service Commission on the ground that there is low rank in the preferred school applied by the candidate.

3. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner intends to file fresh choice in respect of the school where he intends to be transferred.

4. Reliance has been placed on an order dated 7th March, 2025 passed by the Court in WPA 557 of 2025 in the matter of Subhajit Maitra Vs. The State of West Bengal wherein the Court was pleased to grant leave to the petitioner to make appropriate representation before the Chairman of the Commission.

5. As it appears that the facts of the case of Subhajit Maitra (supra) are similar to the facts of the instant writ petition, accordingly, the instant writ petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to make appropriate representation before the Chairman, West Bengal Central School Service Commission.

The Commission shall consider the same in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible but positively within a period eight weeks from the date of receipt of such representation.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of.

7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
