The petitioner is admittedly a resident of Bikaner, Rajasthan. He has been implicated in a criminal case at Siliguri. The petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail.

Considering the materials in the Case Diary, including the statement recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for anticipatory bail, being CRM(A) 284 of 2022, is, accordingly, dismissed and/or rejected.
