1. The petitioner herein prays for bail apprehending arrest in connection with Siliguri Police Station Case No. 657 of 2025 dated 30.09.2025 under Sections 126(2)/115(2)/117(2)(4)/118(1)/351(2)/3(5) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (PTN No. 4857 of 2025.
2. It appears from the materials on record including the case diary that there is a case and a counter case in respect of the incident in this case.
3. But from the case diary relating to the present case, it appears from the injury report, issued by a Government Hospital, at page 17 that there is stab injury over the right upper chest wall of the victim.
4. Considering the nature of injury and the materials on recrod, this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail.
5. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
6. CRM (A) 333 of 2026 is, thus, disposed of.
7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
