The petitioner is the victim in the present case. The victim has filed the present application praying for expeditious disposal of the case pending before the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Mathabhanga being MTB Sessions Case 169 of 2023 (State vs. Sujay Roy).

It is found from the record that only five witnesses have been cited in the charge sheet.

Considered the submission made by the counsel for the petitioner, the state and respondent no.2. The learned Additional Sessions Judge, Mathabhanga is directed to dispose of the MTB Sessions Case No.169 of 2023 preferably within six months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. CRR/159/2024 is disposed of.
