akb Mr. Sakti Pada Jana ...For the Petitioner Mr. Bikramaditya Ghosh Ms. Bedashruti Bose ...for the State Respondents This is an application under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondent authorities for non-consideration of the higher scale of pay in favour of the petitioner for acquiring postgraduate degree in Physics. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent authority submits that the representation of the petitioner may be considered by the District inspector of Schools (S.E.), Cooch Behar, District - Cooch Behar.

In the light of the above submission, District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Cooch Behar, District - Cooch Behar is directed to consider the representation dated September 16, 2019 after granting an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass a reasoned order within a period of four weeks from date. The reasoned order should be communicated to the petitioner within a week from the date of passing such reasoned order. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition is disposed of.

Since, no affidavit-in-opposition has been called for, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have not been admitted by the respondents. There will be no order as to costs.
