The report on behalf of North Bengal Medical College, being the respondent no.1, as directed to be filed by the order dated 13th June, 2022 and 13th May, 2024, is filed in Court today and is taken on record. The petitioners remained unrepresented on 13th May, 2024 when the matter was called on. The petitioners also remains unrepresented even today. It appears from the report that 200 candidates were admitted for the UG MBBS Course for the session 2021-22 as on 28th April, 2022 with the names. However, since the petitioners are not present, I am not inclined to go into the merits of the matter and instead dismiss the same for default as the petitioners are found not to be interested in proceeding with the matter.

The writ petition, being WPA 1210 of 2022, is accordingly dismissed for default.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
