The petitioner is alleging that Umeshlal Pradhan @ Umesh Tamrakar, the respondent no.8 herein is a citizen of Nepal as such, he is not entitled to hold property and run business in India.

It is the further allegation of the petitioner that his representation praying enquiry as to the citizenship of the respondent no. 8 is pending before the Foreigner Regional Registration Office (F.R.R.O.), Kolkata, the respondent no.4 herein but same has failed to draw attention.

The petitioner is praying for disposal of the said representation.

The said representation dated April 08, 2025 forms part of the writ petition being Annexure 'P-4'.

The respondent no. 4 is directed to consider and dispose of the said representation as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law, after giving the petitioner and the respondent no.8 opportunity of hearing.

WPA 1043 of 2025 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties, subject to compliance of all requisite formalities.
