A very simple prayer in this writ petition has been made by the petitioner praying for direction upon the respondent No. 3 to consider his representation which was first made on 16th July, 2021 then again on 19th July, 2021 against the impugned demand notice dated 1st January, 2021 being annexure P-10 to the writ petition.

Considering his submission and prayer this writ petition is disposed of by directing the Superintendent, CGST & Central Excise, Central Goods and Service Tax, Jalpaiguri Range to consider and dispose of the aforesaid representation dated 19th July, appearing at Page 196 of the writ petition in accordance with law and by passing a reasoned and

speaking order after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner or his authorized representative within six weeks from the date of communication of this order and to communicate his decision to the petitioner within one week thereafter.

It is recorded that this Court has not gone into the merits of the case and the respondent concerned shall decide the case of the petitioner strictly in accordance with law. All the points raised in the writ petition are kept open.

WPA 1117 of 2021 is disposed of.
