And In the matter of : Debasish Dhar @ Ramu ...petitioner Ms. Jeenia Rudra ...For the petitioner Mr. Abijit Sarkar Mr. Biswarup Roy ....For the State Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and his name transpired from the statement made by the co accused persons. It is further submitted that nothing has been recovered from the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that large quantities of narcotic substance above commercial quantity have been recovered from the petitioner.
Having considered the materials available in the case diary and considering the fact that huge quantities of narcotic substance above commercial quantity have been
recovered from the possession of the petitioner, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
The application for bail is, accordingly, rejected. CRM (NDPS) 360 of 2023 is disposed of.
