The allegation against the petitioner is that he went to the house of the victim, a 16 years old girl, when she was alone, and raped her. This has caused the victim girl to become pregnant. We have considered the material in the Case Diary including the statement of the victim girl recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. We have also considered the medical report. Investigation is in progress. Having regard to the seriousness of the charge and the prima facie, incriminating material on record, we are not inclined to allow the petitioner's prayer for anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, The application for anticipatory bail being C.R.M. 816 of 2021 is dismissed.
