Mr. Rahaman, learned advocate for the State, in compliance with the direction dated May 13, 2025 files the report of the Block Development Officer, Matiali of District- Jalpaiguri, the respondent no. 3 herein, let it be kept with record.

It appears from the said report that on successful completion of the work, the measurement and field inspection were conducted by the Junior Engineer of the Matiali Block, the respondent no. 5 herein and the respondent no. 3 thereafter has submitted the final bill. The said respondent has also requisitioned the fund from the Additional District Magistrate (Education Section) but yet to receive such fund.

The District Magistrate, Jalpaiguri, the respondent no. 4 herein is directed to arrange for the fund as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order. The respondent no. 3, on receipt of the fund, shall disburse the outstanding amount to the petitioner.

The prayer for interest on the outstanding amount is not considered at this stage, the petitioner is at liberty to renew such prayer after payment of the outstanding amount.

W.P.A. 1073 of 2025 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
