By an order dated 27th September, 2021, passed in WPA 979 of 2021, a co-ordinate Bench of this Court directed the Deputy Director of Textile (Sericulture), Government of West Bengal to consider the representation submitted by the petitioners dated 16th March, 2021 and dispose of the same in accordance with law within three months from the date of communication of the order. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the said order has not been complied with till date. Learned counsel for the State respondents seeks extension of time to comply with the said order. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioners dated 16th

March, 2021 in terms of the order passed by this Court on 27th September, 2021 in WPA 979 of 2021 within one month from the date of communication of this order after giving reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioners, in accordance with law.

The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereof. With the above observations and directions this writ petition being WPA 1357 of 2022 is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
