Commercial quantity of contraband item (Phensedyl) was recovered from the motor cycle of the petitioner when he was riding the same. In view of the restriction in Section 37 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act, we are not inclined to entertain the petitioner's prayer for bail. We are told that the petitioner is in custody for 331 days. Charge sheet has been submitted. We request the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial to the extent possible

and bring the same to its logical conclusion as soon as the business of the Court may permit.

The application for bail is, accordingly, rejected. C.R.M. 801 of 2021 is dismissed.
