The writ petition was filed on 10th June, 2022. It appeared in the list on 16th June, 2022 when on the prayer of the petitioners, the matter was adjourned till the next Circuit Bench. On 4th July, 2022 at the instance of the petitioners, the matter was again adjourned and was directed to appear in the next Circuit Bench. On 8th August, 2023 on the prayer of the petitioners, the Government of West Bengal was impleaded as a respondent in the writ petition.

supplementary affidavit was also permitted to be filed by the petitioners annexing relevant documents. No supplementary affidavit appears on record. However, the learned Advocates representing the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (in short GTA) and the State submit

that they have been served with the supplementary affidavit.

The petitioners remain unrepresented even today. No adjournment is prayed for. No one has also applied to represent the petitioners on virtual mode. The writ petition stands dismissed for default. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
