Saha, learned Additional Government Pleader, in compliance with the direction dated May 14, 2025 files the report of the Block Development Officer, Mal District- Jalpaiguri, the respondent no. 7 herein, let it be kept with the record.

It appears from the said report that on successful completion of the work, the measurement and field inspection were conducted by the Junior Engineer of the Mal Block and the respondent no. 7, thereafter, has submitted the final bill. The said respondent has also requisitioned the fund from the District Magistrate, Jalpaiguri, the respondent no. 2 herein, but is yet to receive such fund.

The respondent no. 2 is directed to arrange for the fund as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order. The respondent no. 7, on receipt of the said

fund, shall disburse the outstanding amount to the petitioner.

The prayer for interest on the outstanding amount is not considered at this stage, the petitioner is at liberty to renew such prayer after payment of the outstanding amount.

WPA 1103 of 2025 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
