1. Heard the learned Advocates for the parties.

2. We have considered the materials on record.

Statements of witnesses show petitioner had subjected his wife to torture over demands of dowry. She suffered unnatural death within one and half years of marriage. Petitioner has absconded for 14 years.

3. Under such circumstances, we are of the opinion this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
