The petitioner seeks relaxation/modification of the bail condition imposed upon him by an order passed on 9th June, 2025 on the ground that he is not able to furnish local surety and is still languishing in custody.

Heard learned counsels for the parties.

It appears that the petitioner has not been released on bail since he has not been able to furnish local surety. In view of the above, the order dated 9th June, 2025 be modified to the extent that the petitioner shall furnish bond to the satisfaction of the learned Special Court with two registered surities of Rs.10,000/- each instead of local surety. However, the other conditions of bail shall continue.

The application being CRAN 1 of 2025 is disposed of. (Suvra Ghosh, J.)
