1. The petitioner prays for bail. He was arrested on August 19, 2025.

2. According to the petitioner, he was only acting as a loader and there is no money transaction that has been found in his bank account. The quantity of ganja recovered is 75 kgs., 210 wooden logs and 150 kgs. of beetle nut. Charge sheet has been submitted after conclusion of the investigation.

3. The prayer for bail is opposed by the learned counsel for the State. The case diary has been produced. The same is perused.

4. It appears therefrom that during investigation, the petitioner's mobile tower location was found near the place of occurrence of the incident. Recovery was made from the

platform no.2 after the contraband articles were lifted from the high capacity parcel van. The petitioner was responsible for loading the articles in the van.

5. It has been submitted that the contraband articles were being transported from Assam to Chennai.

6. Upon perusal of the case diary and upon hearing the submission made on behalf of both the parties, as it appears that the contraband articles are of commercial quantity, the same attracts the rigours of Section 37 of NDPS Act, 1985. Accordingly, the prayer for bail stands rejected.

7. The application stands dismissed.

8. The case diary is returned.
