Learned counsel appearing for the State in opposing the prayer for anticipatory bail has relied upon the statement of the victim and submits that the petitioner and his family members were involved in the alleged commission of offence.

Having considered the materials available in the case diary and the involvement of the petitioner in the alleged commission of offence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands rejected.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, disposed of.
