The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition, being aggrieved by the alleged inaction on the part of the respondent authorities, who have failed to take any action on petitioner's complaint dated 14.12.2024.

The petitioner submits that he had transferred an amount of Rs.5,50,000/- to the private respondent for business purposes.

However, the private respondents failed to repay the said amount.

Consequently, the petitioner lodged a police complaint dated 14.12.2024. Despite the lapse of a considerable period of time, no action has been taken on the said complaint by the concerned authorities. Aggrieved by such inaction particularly on the part of the police

authorities, the petitioner has preferred the present writ petition.

Upon perusal of the present writ petition, it appears that the primary grievance raised in the writ petition pertains to the recovery of the above mentioned amount advanced by the petitioner to the private respondent. The petitioner further contends that he had undertaken some work for which he has not been paid the amount due to him. The dispute, as presented, is purely civil in nature and arises between the private individuals. While the petitioner has alleged inaction on the part of the police authorities, there exist adequate and efficacious alternate remedies under the law to address such grievances. The invocation of the writ jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is not warranted in the present circumstances. 5.

In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to exercise its writ jurisdiction in the present matter. Accordingly, the present writ petition is dismissed. 6.
