CRIMINAL REVISIONAL JURISDICTION CRR 133 of 2021 (Through Video Conference) In Re: - An application under Section 482 read with 483 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.

And In the matter of: Shrabanti Majumder (Nee Choudhury) .... Petitioner Mr. Dhananjay Nayak ...For the Petitioner The petitioner prays for an expeditious hearing of the applications filed by her under Sections 12 and 23 of the Protection of Woman from Domestic Violence Act, 2005.

It appears that the two applications were filed in the year, 2018 and the opposite parties also entered appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 3rd Court, Siliguri, in connection with the said proceeding.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that those two applications require to be heard expeditiously, and a direction should be passed upon the learned Magistrate to decide the said two applications in a time-bound manner.

Keeping in mind the innocuous nature of the prayer, and also in view of the fact that said two petitions are pending for about three years, I dispose of this application with a direction upon the learned Magistrate in the Court below to make an endeavour to decide those two applications as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a

period of four months from date without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

This revisional application is disposed of without any issuance of notice upon the opposite parties since they will not be prejudiced by this order.

CRR 133 of 2021 is disposed of.
