Mr. Sayan Banerjee Mr. Gopal Roy Ms. Rishita Chakraborty ..for the petitioner Mr. Kunaljit Bhattacharjee, AGP Mr. Abhijit Raha ..for the State It is the grievance of the petitioner that he had executed a work order relating to the electrification of primary schools for their reopening within the jurisdiction of the Banarhat Development Block. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, despite successful execution of the said work, no payment has been released in his favour till date. It further appears that the petitioner has submitted a series of representations before the Block Development Officer, Banarhat Development Block, requesting release of his legitimate dues.

In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the Block Development Officer, Banarhat Development Block, to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation,

annexed at page 31 of the writ petition, in accordance with law, by passing a reasoned order, within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order.

Before passing such order, the Block Development Officer, Banarhat Development Block, shall afford the petitioner a reasonable opportunity of hearing. Accordingly, WPA 1010 of 2026 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
